{"id":88,"date":"2020-05-01T13:15:53","date_gmt":"2020-05-01T13:15:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irta.agenso.gr\/?p=88"},"modified":"2020-12-21T13:59:16","modified_gmt":"2020-12-21T13:59:16","slug":"irta-new-research-project-for-developing-agricultural-robot-for-precision-spraying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irta.agenso.gr\/?p=88","title":{"rendered":"iRTA: New research project for developing agricultural robot for precision spraying"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AGENSO proudly announces that participates at the granted proposal of the iRTA (intelligent robotic high precision treatment application in rough terrain vineyards) program that was submitted to the open call of the ESMERA project, funded by the European Union\u2019s \u201cHorizon 2020\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AGENSO for the next nine months along with SCiO systems, Roboskel Lab \u2013 IIT Demokritos and Precision Agriculture Laboratory of Agricultural University of Athens will be working on the development of a robotic platform for precision spraying in steep slope vineyards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the development of the robotic platform, cutting-edge robotic technologies will be combined such as the capability of autonomous navigation in the vineyard and the possibility of avoiding obstacles, the high precision spraying technologies as well as the artificial intelligence technologies that will recognize and perform appropriate spraying applications according to the needs of the vineyards.
